Motivational speaker, educator, community leader and minister, Rico Wint is motivating young men throughout the Denver metro area. A product of both Denver and Aurora Public Schools, he understands the plight that faces many of our inner-city young men. His passion and enthusiasm for inspiring young men to be their best selves through practical, applicable social/leadership training is evident. A graduate of Aurora Central High School and University of Northern Colorado (B.A. Political Science) he was elected the student body president on both levels, notably the 3rd African American president in UNC’s 130-year history. Because of his success on Student Representative Council he was placed on a full ride academic scholarship during his tenure on UNC’s Student Government.
“Mr. Rico” as he is affectionately known by his students; is noted for his powerful and riveting lectures. Teachers and staff have been quoted saying “Walking past a YMOP session, I could hear a pin drop!” He attributes his passion to the need to place knowledge of self in the young men he mentors.
